Visiting Scholar Week: November 2–6, 2026
Philip Beaumont Jr. is an enrolled member of the Crow (Apsáalooke) Tribe and a recognized figure in Native American studies, history, and cultural education. He is known for his scholarly work, teaching, and contributions to preserving Crow heritage.
Philip’s visit to Montana State University Billings will provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and the campus community to engage with Crow history, cultural knowledge, and Indigenous perspectives. His presence will help strengthen connections to Apsáalooke heritage and support the continued sharing of Indigenous knowledge and traditions.
